Those are indeed all cameras, and thats only a fraction of them, there are problably around 30 or so underneath the rail from the turn past the finish line. I never really counted them all but there are a ton. It's insane the amount of work that goes into photographing the Derby

I had a press pass, that and one of the stupid bibs seen in this photo.
