17) Thanks, Dave, Denny Sarah and Matt, for getting the pictures up!
Sam is so, so precious. Can't wait to see him again this morning. I slept 12 hours last night - all in one position! Hope Sarah and Jason have gotten some rest.
19) I am jealous!! Will get to see Sam soon though, just not too soon.
Glad you got some sleep! Hope Sarah and Jason did too.

21) Can't wait to get some of the most recent pics up, as Sam has changed a lot since his birth day - at least in a grandma's eyes!
Sarah is slowly getting her strength back. She put on real clothes today after her shower (and Jason shaved her legs for her!) and feels better just for that!
Sam has had some challenges feeding (probably the anesthesia has affected that for both baby and momma) and Sarah has experienced some frustration but they have excellent nursing and support care and the three of them are very focussed and determined. Due to the limited nursing Sam is a little jaundiced. To help get some liquid in him, they've given him some supplemental breast milk from a source through the hospital - donated breast milk - pretty damned awesome! So, just a little time...
The kids may be coming home tomorrow, but will not know for sure until tomorrow - we'll see.
23) Dannie, he is the star father on the maternity ward. Sarah's delivery nurse said he was the best daddy coach she had ever seen. That man is AWESOME!
25) He is a beautiful baby boy and we are so happy for everyone!! I was in a shop called "Always N bloom" (on the way to Kill Devil Hills for the weekend with some CDC girls) when Bob called with the good news!! I stood there crying for JOY when I heard about Sam!! I will never forget where I was when I heard about his arrival! And I had just bought a card for Pegi and Bob a few minutes before I got the call....at another shop ~ that must have been right about the time he was making his grand entrance into the world!!! Can't wait to meet Sam!!! Congratulations and love to all of you,
Janet and Wayne
26) Hey! That's awesome about the donated breast milk. I hope things are going better. I imagine the anesthesia and the "baby laying on your c-section" doesn't help anything! Sounds like Sarah, Jason and Sam are a real team. I'm sure the breastfeeding will come along. It can be tougher than one would think. It took me about two weeks to feel comfortable and like Hannah and I were really naturals. Give it some time!
27) Okay Pegi when do we get to see more Sam? Has Jason put the nix on any pictures that are not through his proffessional eye? Inquiring relatives want to see more. Am I gonna have to get in the car to have any quality time with my Grandnephew ya think? Give the kids our love !
