Gas 3.69 + Ford Focus=road trip
I have been patiently waiting for the gas situation to stabilize so I could go and see my Grand kids and some special friends in Huntersville.
Actually I have decided to "adopt" Cami and Sherrie as part of my extended family.
We had a great lunch and visit and I just got the biggest kick out of watching Cami eat her ice cream and tell us all about her Halloween outfit. I just know she is going to have a ball with her new sister Delilah and Mom will definitely be busy.
Its so amazing to watch a new baby grow and little Charlotte has certainly changed.
She really doesn't sleep all the time now and at seven weeks she has already started to smile when she hears familiar voices. The first time she did it I just thought it was the "gas" thing but she does it frequently and it is just so cute.
That's a little one but I wish I could have caught her when her big sister started talking to her. They are going to have a special bond.
She is holding her head up and overall is just doing great.
I took Caroline over to visit her cousins and had a fun surprise when Davis gave me a grin.
Caroline is jealous because she hasn't lost a tooth yet!It was a pretty day and they decided to have a race on the sidewalk. Ella was the official starter.
As you can see she had pizza for supper and decided to wear her knee socks in a most fashionable way.It was a short but sweet visit and now that I have my "kid" fix I will be happy for awhile.

They are all getting so big...
Looks like you had a great visit and it was worth every penny and gas problem!
The true bottleneck in the oil supply chain are the refineries. We havent built a new refinery in the US in over 25 years. Plus, due to multiple emissions requirements in each section of the country, most refineries are operating at around 99% capacity. If one goes offline for maintenance or accidents, then the supply quickly gets squeezed and prices skyrocket.
