Cravings for KFC

Funny story -
My cousin Randy left a message at the end of my "Finally Week 12" Blog. For some reason, I never saw it until now when I was just looking over some of the old comments. He said several times that I would crave good ole' KFC. Holy crap - do they put pregnant woman crack in that or what?! Even now as I think of it, the baby is kicking me! He likes the fried goodness too!

Well, I have actually become pretty disgusted with my new cravings of the KFC Snacker, so I have tried to at least stay away from fried chicken at the KFC chain. So, Jason made some homemade fried chicken goodness for me last night. Yum! I think my mom is cringing now! Sorry 'bout that Momma. I fit in some fruit and vegies somewhere in there too. (Although fried vegies are the best!)

So, as usual, Randy you are right. Leg and lower back pain are beginning. I need to go to the chiropractor.

But, it sure is fun to feel that little guy moving around! (In case you missed the excited Grandma blog - we are having a boy!)

1) I still can't believe that you and Jason love those KFC snackers things (especially Jason since he is a food snob). I do remember taking you to get one of those a couple of years ago, the funny thing is I was pregnant and not you.

2) Hey, HOMEMADE fried chicken is a whole different animal than fast food! It's all "real" food and you know what's in it. Glad Jason cooked some fried goodness for you and you ate THAT instead of the KFC nastiness.

Was the chicken pan-fried/sauteed (I hope) or deep-fried? Never mind. I think I know the answer.

Yes, Niki, I'm a food snob too.

3) Niki - you aren't supposed to let anyone know I ate that crap BEFORE I was pregnant!!!

4) If chicken is the worse thing you crave, no big deal! They say KFC chicken breast is only 6 grams of fat. It's definitely not the worst thing you could eat...eventhough homemade is better. I craved lemonade from Chick-fil-a and watermelon. But I did get some ice cream fitted in, too!

5) Oh, and I probably ate healthier pregnant than not!
