I was in the hospital for the best day of my life. Yep, Brennan was born 1 year ago today and it still feels like only yesterday. It's very strange to think about my pre-Brennan life now...all the new emotions you feel when you have a child and the new understanding of what other parents talk about when they talk about their own children.
We had her birthday party today as well. She was sooooooo good. Peopla went on and on about how good she is and how well mannered. Well mannered at 1? We must be awesome parents!
She had so much fun. She laughed and played. She sat the whole time while I opened most of her presents. She of course preferred the bows and paper. There were a few toys, such as the Fridge Farm and some rolling rhino thing that kept her attention more that 5 seconds. Thanks to all who came, especially Leslie who helped me set up the tables and chairs in the hall so Brennan could get her nap in and Brenda who took pictures and video so we could have front row seats to the event of a lifetime for us!
