LGrant initiated my search of gull photos from past years to find gulls that do not have the black heads. The black-headed gulls I photographed a couple weeks ago are Laughing Gulls. We saw nothing else this trip except the Laughing Gulls. In the winter gulls take on a bit different coloration which may cause them to look like a different gull than when seen in the summer. Also, mature gulls are usually different in color than one or two year old immature gulls, so identifying particular species and age is beyond my capability. I am not going to try to identify any of the gulls in the following pictures, but just show them.Comments
