1) Aliens!
I love those things. The insects, not so much the aliens.

2) Such bizarre insects but very cool in their weirdness. My cats in TN thought they made great crunchies.

3) That is super freaky.

4) My brother once shot one of those between the eyes with a bee bee gun to the horror of my parents. I doubt he was even aiming at it...it was just a random act of violence. RIP little Praying Mantis.

5) I like this one a lot. The red makes the mantis pop. I think this would look sweet in my dining room. :)

6) You are talking about the picture and not the insect aren't you Spike!!!??? Yeah, I agree about the background, which happens to be a somewhat reddish maroon colored garage door. The mantis is actually sitting on a white gate post.

7) I don't know--I think the red makes him look even more like "Our Favorite Martian". :)

9) Great picture. Haven't made up my mind about the mantis though. I like them, but then I am immediately freaked out a little.
