Emily and baby Nichols

Emily is one of my dearest friends. We met when I moved to Teton Valley five years ago and have grown closer over the years. She was really there for me when I had my son, three years ago and she is now having her first baby, due Aug. 8. I am so honored that she asked me to be with her for this birth (and take a few pictures when I'm not helping her through labor.) The plan was for her to be at my son's birth as well, but considering it was in the middle of the night and went really fast, we were a bit frazzled and not to good about making that phone call.

Emily is also a wonderful photographer and has been a second shooter with me many times. We decided to head out from her house in Tetonia, to hit some of her favorite spots that she frequents on her evening walks. The evening was stunning and she could not have looked more beautiful!

I'm so excited to welcome your little babe into the world and shower it with as much love as possible!
