GREAT SUCCESS!!!!!!

I just heard back from my Mom. Roy's PET-scan results came in today and Roy, Geraldine, and Denise went over to see if the Chemotherapy had any effect. It has been a weekend on pins and needles for Roy, but we just found out that the cancer in his chest has been reduced to just a small spot. 3 months ago it was the size of a softball and he had 6 months to live. Today he was just given the okay for 3 more months of chemo and the cancer should be gone!!!!!

Happy Happy Joy Joy!!!!!!

Love You Granddaddy!!!!

9) The Hawkwolf passes on Congratulations to your families. As a cancer survivor, there is nothing as bad as the wait for test results. My father died from it about thirty years before I found out that I had it.

10) My father was raised on a depression era tobacco farm in Eastern NC in the twenties and thirties; consequently, he was also a an oficer in the Army and the only relaxation they had in combat were: free cigarettes and M&Ms.
As an indirect result of smoking, I lost both of my parents within ten months of each other.

11) I just spoke with Roy as he and Geraldine drove back through and told him of all of your kind words and blessings. He smiled and said "What is Humzoo???" I tried to explain the concept of email to him one time and he argued with me and said that it would be better to send "real" mail or a fax. I quit trying to explain computer stuff to him.

13) We appreciate all the prayers from family and friends and Humzoo Community!! Doctors did tell us without chemo it could be 6 months. My dad didn't question the chemo, he just said OK and wanted to know when it was to start. The news today was even better than we all expected. We celebrated with a 99 cents banana split from Sonic!! (well, that is what he wanted!!). Keep him in your prayers as another 3 months of chemo is draining on the body BUT how WONDERFUL to know it is WORKING! YAY!
On wllnbek computer as I am babysitting my precious grandson, Driggs, who, by the way, I am sure had a big part of bringing out more strength in my already strong father!! YYYIIIPPPPPPEEEEEE!! More fun times ahead!

24) Glad to hear Roy's making such great progress in his cancer battle! And today must be "Good News Day" because my 10-year-old niece, Cali Jo, had her six-month follow-up scans for Ewing's Sarcoma, and she was ALL CLEAR, too! YAY!!! I don't know if she got a banana shake from Sonic, though...

30) Look at the expression on his face! Ya'll are very good at capturing the "essence" of a person in your photos... that's art... and something other's would pay for... might be another hobby :-)

31) Haila,
It is my husbands top hobby. He has photographs hanging in a local restaurant and frames his own pieces. We are shooting a wedding in May as well. Good to hear from you
