A tree fell on the Barn behind my Grandmother Georgia's house. The roots had rotted away and there was no foundation and this gigantic tree just fell over. It pretty much crushed the barn. The rafters are broken and I believe the whole thing is trashed. I guess its good that the family business is insurance!!!

1) Oh no. How weird - I've never heard of that happening before (the roots and all).

5) Firewood?! Hell, if the barn wood in that thing is at all salvagable, I'd be making me some furniture or putting down a hardwood floor someplace! Sorry, about your grandma's barn; I love barns.

8) It would be cool to salvage any of the barn and build a house from it. Or the tree. Red oak is beautiful wood.
