2) If you haven't already heard of them already, check out Old Crow Medicine Show. They have a similar sound. I saw them open for Gillian Welch a few years ago and I have been a fan ever since.
3) i love ocms! pretty sure they've played the sylvia here in the last year or so. they're getting pretty big. gillian welch is a fave too--great taste in music, minch!
