The Sylvia Theatre is an Old movie theatre that is in Dowton York that has been converted into a concert hall and listening room. The stage has had The Avett Brothers, Doc Watson, Edwin McCain, and Leon Redbone.... to name a few. RIGHT HERE IN YORK!!!! Also on Wed, Fri and Sat nights they show movies, and you can even buy a beer at the bar to watch your movie.
